The 2022 Clarivate Journal Impact Factor report has been released.


The 2022 Clarivate Journal Impact Factor report has been released, with Nature Reviews Rheumatology taking out top spot among rheumatology journals with an impact factor of 33.7.

Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases (JIF 27.4) and the Lancet Rheumatology (JIF 25.4) rounded out the top three.

These journals also comprised the top three journals last year, although Lancet Rheumatology topped the list by virtue of its extensive covid coverage, followed by Nature Reviews Rheumatology and Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases.

In the general and internal medicine category, the Lancet took out top spot (JIF 168.9), followed by the New England Journal of Medicine (158.5) and the Journal of the American Medical Association (120.7).
